Reimagine school pride through design, storytelling, and innovation

In this pilot program, select NYC CTE educators will participate in a guided creative challenge to define their school’s identity, design a capsule collection of school spirit-driven products, and develop a final pitch using AI-powered tools.

This is an opportunity to bring new energy into your school community while building real-world creative and career-connected skills.

What you’ll create?
Participants will develop a School Spirit Capsule Collection that reflects the identity, culture, and voice of their school community.

Each collection will include:

  • A clear School Spirit Theme + Story

  • A minimum of 5 designed items (apparel, accessories, or school-based products)

  • AI-supported concept development using tools like NewArc.ai and other creative platforms

  • A final pitch deck presentation showcasing the full vision

Virtual Program Experience

Session 1 — Story & Identity

- Define your school’s spirit by exploring community values, culture, and narrative.
- Develop a strong thematic direction to guide your collection.

Session 2 — Design the Collection

- Create your capsule collection of at least 5 items.
- Use AI tools to visualize and refine product concepts.

Session 3 — Build the Pitch

- Translate your ideas into a compelling presentation.
- Learn how to communicate concept, design, and impact clearly.

Office Hours (Optional Support Session)

- Get hands-on support across storytelling, design, and presentation before final submission.

May 2026 - Final In-Person Winner Announcement

At the conclusion of the program, educators will present their School Spirit Capsule Collections.

One selected school will receive:

  • A full GoodThings curriculum partnership for the 2026–27 school year

  • Access to the Design Your Own Sneaker Program

  • Continued support to bring creative programming into their classrooms
