Royce Paris launched his first book at Brotherhood Sister Sol. ‘A Reason to Smile’ was a therapeutic project documenting Royce’s 2020 mission to find & share comfort during the COVID crisis in Harlem and the city’s unrest after the murder of George Floyd.
Royce grew up across the street from BroSis so he asked GoodThings to help share his story with the kids that needed what he needed as a kid. The panel discussion on creativity and entrepreneurship was coupled with workstations showcasing therapeutic journaling, using AI to create and taking moving portraits.
